Scott Moore
While driving an 18 wheeler, Scott Moore felt and responded to God’s call to work for Him full time. After attending and working at Mission College of Evangelism, Scott accepted a call to work for the Michigan Conference at ARISE (A Resource Institute for Soul-winning and Evangelism). During his time in Michigan, God revealed to Scott and his wife Melanie that He wanted them to train young and old for lay ministry in the church on a full-time basis. Last year Scott received a call from LIFE to become their director. Much prayer and tears went into the decision to leave what had been familiar for the last four and a half years. And to accept God’s call to take LIFE to the next level. It is his privilege to serve God by serving you.

Carlton Knott
I have always had a love for Spiritual things. As a third generation Adventist, it would seem that I was destined to work for the Lord, though unbeknownst to me for the greater portion of my years. My call to the ministry was confirmed while I was pursuing a professional soccer career in Veragio, Italy. Upon returning to the United States, the Lord spoke to me and informed me that I would no longer be engaging in the profession of scoring goals, but instead in the humble work of baptizing souls. I therefore relinquished all hopes of becoming a professional soccer player and pursued my theological studies at Oakwood University. I have never regretted this decision. My only regret is that it took me so long to completely surrender to the will of God.

There are so many marred individuals in this sin-cursed world who need to learn of the love of Jesus Christ. It is my mission to preach and teach the “good news,” whereby mankind may be fully restored to the image of God. I am a living witness that God’s truth, once accepted in the heart by the grace of God, enlightens, ennobles, and elevates its possessors to loving service. As a debtor to mankind, my mission in life can be summed up in the famous words of George Witfield, “Give me souls or take my soul.” Since time wasted can never be recovered, my objective now is to redeem the time by capitalizing on that which remains for Jesus’ sake.
